Mental Health Service Provider at AU
Starting April 13, 2026 AU will be transitioning to a new mental health service provider, Family Services. Family Services offers expanded services and resources designed to better meet your needs, including 24/7 access to online wellness resources (no login required), short-term counselling support (up to three one-hour sessions per year), and confidential services delivered by registered mental health professionals in over 200 languages.
Any appointments already booked with our current provider will be honoured, so there is no need to make changes to existing bookings.
Beginning April 13, you can find updated contact information for Family Services on the Wellness Programs and Resources page. We encourage you to explore the available services and take advantage of this valuable support.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to healthandwellness@athabascau.ca.
