Carepath Digital Health
AU has partnered with Carepath Digital Health to provide students with a dedicated mental health support program focused on prevention and early intervention.
If you’re facing challenges and need assistance, contact Carepath’s support line at 1-855-491-5744 during regular hours. Additionally, you can access a wealth of online resources anytime—24/7—via carepathdigitalhealth.ca using your computer or mobile device.
Counselling services are delivered by qualified mental health professionals with master’s-level training or higher and are available in over 300 languages. These resources and services are fully accessible to all active AU students as a part of your wellness support program.
To get started with Carepath, simply register using your AU student ID number and the course(s) or program(s) you’re currently enrolled in. Take advantage of this comprehensive support to prioritize your well-being.
Ways to Connect with Carepath
- Call 1-855-491-5744 during business hours (7 a.m. – 11 p.m. (ET), 7 days/week, 365 days/year)
- Download the Carepath Digital Health app from the App Store or Google Play
- Visit the Carepath Digital Health website
To set up an account through the Carepath website or mobile app, select:
- Create Account
- Create Request
- I Am A Student
- School Name: Athabasca University
- Mental Health Program
- Then, fill in the required information, including your name and Student ID, and submit the request.
- You will receive an approval email that will help you complete your account setup. Provide the remaining required information, sign the consent form, and click save.
- Finally, complete the initial screening questionnaire.
That’s it! A Carepath counsellor will reach out to you within 24 – 48 hours. Please watch for an initial email or phone call.
Please note: if you are outside Canada, you must use the Carepath Digital Health website to register.
